Firstly when your issuance email arrives you will have two certificates in the email - your server certificate and a chained certificate.
Copy the chained certificate into a text editor such as notepad and save as chain.txt.
Copy your web server certificate into a text editor such as notepad and save as yourdomain.txt.
Copy the Root CA certificate found at the bottom of this page into a text editor such as notepad and save it as root.txt.
NOTE: Do not shutdown or restart the server until all steps have been completed.
Install the Root CA certificate

Start Netscape Enterprise/Suitespot Server Administration page. |

Log in as the web server administrator. |
| 3. |
Select Key and Certificates at the Server Administration page. |
| 4. |
Click Install Certificate on the left side menu frame. |
| 5. |
Select Trusted Certificate Authority (CA).

Enter certificate name as "ChainedSSL Root CA" . |

Select Message Text with headers. Paste the following Trusted Root Certificate into the form and then proceed through the Add Trusted CA Certificate page |

Accept the Certificate. |
| Install the chained certificate |
| 1. |
Click Install Certificate on the left side menu frame. |
| 2. |
Select Trusted Certificate Authority (CA). |
| 3. |
Enter certificate name as "Chained CA" |
| 4. |
Select Message Text with headers. Paste the following Trusted Root Certificate into the form and then proceed through the Add Trusted CA Certificate page |

Accept the Certificate |
| Install the Web Server Certificate |

Now click Install Certificate on the left side menu frame |

Select This Server under the Certificate for section. |
| |
Leave the certificate name field blank |

Select Message Text with headers |
| |
Cut and paste the contents of your Web Server Certificate sent via email into this message box. |
| |
Include the headers and footers of the certificate; beginning with -----BEGIN CERTIFICATE----- and including -----END CERTIFICATE----- . |

Click Add Certificate to install this certificate into the database. |
| |
Click OK on the popup windows |
Configuring the Server |

Click Server Administration located at the top right of the navigation box. The system returns to the server administration main menu. |

Click the button that indicates your server name. |
| 3. |
Click View Server Settings on the menu list |
| Setting Security and encryption |
| 1. |
Check your Security settings. If it is off, click on Security. The Encryption On/Off page is displayed. |

Click Encryption On. Make sure the alias is associated with this certificate. Click OK. |

Click on Save and Apply |
| 4. |
Type the password you used when you generated the key pair in the popup window. |
| 5. |
Press Return and the secure server will start running. |
Test your certificate by connecting to your server.
Use the https protocol directive (e.g. https://your server/) to indicate you wish to use secure HTTP.
